NRA Basics of Rifle Shooting
The NRA is recognized nationally as the gold standard for safe firearms training. The NRA Basics of Rifle Shooting is intended for new shooters with little to no experience, first time gun owners, or individuals looking to purchase their first firearm. The goal is to teach the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for operating a rifle safely and effectively, while students learn the functionality of their rifle. This course covers how to use various different rifles. Students will get the opportunity to shoot a bolt action, pump action, lever action, simi-automatic, and blowback rifle. This course is 8 hours long, giving the student time to learn and become familiar with different aspects of safe gun handling.
