NRA Basics of Shotgun Shooting
The NRA is recognized nationally as the gold standard for safe firearms training. The NRA Basics of Shotgun Shooting is intended for new shooters with little to no experience, first time gun owners, or individuals looking to purchase their first firearm. The goal is to teach the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for operating a shotgun safely and effectively, while students learn the functionality of their shotgun. This course covers how to use various different shotguns. Students will get the opportunity to shoot a semi-automatic, pump action, and break action shotgun. This course is 8 hours long, giving the student time to learn and become familiar with different aspects of safe gun handling.
